A San Francisco selecta, Lil Sur's eclectic musical interests span from deconstructed club to footwork to UK bass, weaving together experimental dance music with a global flair vis-a-vis her Desi heritage.

Lil Sur (aka Juhi Gupta) has been DJing since 2018, where she got her start spinning on-air at WHPK, a radio station based out of the South Side of Chicago since 1968. After experimenting with music production in college at the University of Chicago, she moved back to San Francisco just in time for the COVID-19 crisis. During the pandemic, she threw renegades in San Francisco and the East Bay with fellow Oakland DJs Denaturant and pArt Deco. She now is a resident on San Francisco’s sutro.fm and BFF.fm, and has done guest mixes for Fault RadioHyde.FM, and Live from CREATE. She produces club music incorporating the sounds of San Francisco and classic Bollywood music.
