Hi! I’m Juhi, a.k.a. Lil Sur. ︎ I currently live and work in Paris. I’m from San Francisco, California. You’ll find me at the intersection of arts, culture, and social justice. Through design, strategy, and writing, I try to answer:
![]()
“How can we mobilize culture to build a more equitable world?”

︎ I am an Erasmus Mundus scholar studying art and cultural heritage management.
I’ve worked for the Alliance for California Traditional Arts, Radicle Digital, Creativity Explored, and 50+1 Strategies. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2019 with two BAs in public policy and visual arts, both with honors. I am also a graduate of Arena Academy, Bay Area Solidarity Summer, and Chicago Artists Coalition’s LAUNCH Invitational Residency.
I’ve received several awards for my digital and print design, and I’ve trained and spoken at SF Design Week, the University of San Francisco, People’s Action, Emerge California, Million Voters Project, and more. In my free time, I paint, DJ, blog, and cook.
