︎ Impact: ✨ Supported year-end fundraising by celebrating cultural traditions


I conceived and led an end-of-year media campaign at ACTA, highlighting the seasonal practices of grantees from the Taproot Fellowship, the Apprenticeship Program, and Sounds of California. I interviewed Japanese koto musician Shirley Kazuyo Muramoto and wrote a feature on her Japanese New Year traditions, coordinated additional artist interviews, and designed complementary social graphics. The campaign was promoted across ACTA’s social channels and in a bilingual holiday e-card as part of our year-end fundraising strategy.

The Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA) promotes and supports ways for cultural traditions to thrive now and into the future by providing advocacy, resources, and connections for folk and traditional artists and their communities.
